This townhome served as a model home for Summerset at Frick Park, a TND (traditional neighborhood development), and is a collaboration with Montgomery and Rust, Inc.,Looney Ricks Kiss Architects, and Ibacos, Inc, a high-performance home research and design consultant.

The first floor is organized around an entrance gallery that connects from the front porch, past the living and dining rooms, through the family room and out to the side porch. The second floor master bedroom suite overlooks the park and features a recycled glass tile bathroom with an oversized steam shower. The third floor open loft space captures panoramic views. In addition, above the two-car attached garage is a one bedroom "granny flat" with a separate entrance off the alley.

This Green Demonstration Home features highly energy-efficient HVAC and lighting designs that have been integrated with the architecture. The construction followed energy-efficient guidelines that result in greatly reduced utility bills. The house is insulated with soybean based foam-in-place insulation, and makes use of recycled and ecologically-sensitive products throughout.
