Design Philosophy

MCAI provides thoughtful and creative solutions that integrate Architecture and Interior Design. My design approach is both artful and practical, expansive and sheltering. Great emphasis is placed on natural light, calm, uncluttered compositions, durable materials and practical details. MCAI collaborates closely with you to identify your values and project goals early in the design process to develop an architectural solution that is unique and appropriate to the site, the program, and the budget. This collaboration continues, incorporating the builder, throughout the project’s construction phase.
