Steam showers offer relief after a hard work-out, or a long day. But they can turn into a headache if they are not properly designed and constructed. They require attention to detail in terms of framing, insulating, waterproofing, material selection, ventilation, and aesthetics.

In this bathroom, we composed all the elements to culminate in a spacious steam shower. The vanity area, defined by a continuous mirror, dark wood cabinets, and a white projecting light ledge, nests against a surrounding of dark tile.
